About The Day
Meet inside Old Street Underground concourse by Lennies bagel shop at the arranged time. Best to arrive 15 minutes beforehand. Tours starts promptly. The concourse is the main hub inside the underground station that connects the subway exits.
A short briefing to get to know everyone and their skill level. Camera settings will be advised to start with and and at any point if the light changes. Technical help will be given to people that require it.
Any digital camera or camera phone is acceptable on this tour. Absolute beginners welcome.
A standard 50mm or 18-55mm lens is advisable. Some of the art is quite large. Tripods are not necessary.
Due to the ever changing nature of street art, some pieces disappear within weeks so every tour may differ.
The tour will take the participants through Shoreditch, Hoxton and Brick Lane.
A talk about some of the artists and where other pieces can be found.
Please wear comfortable footwear and clothes to suit the weather. We do not cancel due to weather conditions.
The tour will end in Brick Lane where the participants can then go on to enjoy their time taking in the many sights and more importantly go exploring with their cameras.
